Cafe

The Lookout café is situated on the same property as the Glass on Glasshouse luxury cottages but has a different telephone number and email:

Cafe Phone: 0498 471232 or thelookoutcafe@gmail.com

Whilst the cottages are hidden away from view behind a ridge, the café is conveniently located on the main tourist road to the major lookout for the Glass House Mountains (the only one you can drive to).

The cafe has wonderful views of the mango orchard and Mount Coonowrin, and is the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or an afternoon snack and a coffee. You can also pick up takeaway evening meals to be reheated in your cottage later but orders must be placed by 2 pm and collected by 3pm.  And don’t forget to look out for the wild kangaroos that often sleep under the mango trees!

Divine home-baked cakes and flans, Great freshly-ground coffee, Tasty toasted sandwiches and Devilish Devonshire teas.

Open: 7 days 9-3 (sometimes till 3.30 or 4 on a Saturday or Sunday if its busy).
