Historical

Around the corner from us is an old Cobb & Co. staging post and the original boarding house Bankfoot House, which is worth a visit. Bankfoot House is a state heritage listed property and the oldest surviving residence in the Glass House Mountains. heritage.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au/Places/Bankfoot-House 12Km away is Woodford, famous for its Summer Folk Festival, a village which seems to be stuck in a 50's time warp. 15Km away is the interesting Landborough Historical Museum. There's also a fascinating European museum of art and archaeology called the Abbey Museum (25 mins) and the Caboolture Historic Village (15 mins) on the way to Bribie Island.
